Statement of Faith
Covenant Presbyterian is a Church that is intentionally biblical, that strives to have a biblical worldview, that is Reformed in our theology and lifestyle, that is confessional, and that is covenantal.
We look to the Bible for truth for living and for developing a Christian worldview. That means that Scripture forms and informs our views of God, man, society, knowledge, truth, and ethics.
We are Reformed as we locate our rich theological heritage in the Reformation of the sixteenth century, in the Post-Reformation, and in many of the writings of the Puritans.
Specifically, our main confessional standards are the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Westminster Larger Catechism, and the Westminster Shorter Catechism, but we also trust other confessions/catechisms such as the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, the Second Helvetic Confession, and others.
